FantasTIC REALISM - WHERE REALITY MEETS THE IMAGINATION
Half the Sky - SERIES
This body of work began with a quiet tension.
Inspired in part by Half the Sky by Nicholas Kristof, and shaped by personal experience, these paintings explore the inner and external landscapes of women navigating that tension. Each figure exists between worlds: strength and vulnerability, confinement and expansion, silence and voice.
There is no single narrative here. Instead, there are moments - held, suspended, sometimes fragile. A reaching. A breaking point. A transformation that is not always visible, but always present.
The work does not offer resolution. It acknowledges that the dream of freedom is complex, and often comes at a cost.
A shift from limitation toward possibility. From pressure toward presence. From what is imposed… to what can be reclaimed.
As part of this collection, 20% of each sale will be directed toward initiatives that support women facing systemic barriers and inequality.
Loosing my mind - SERIES
This new series of fantastic realism works responds to the emotional and psychological tensions of contemporary life. Through symbolic imagery and the human figure, the paintings explore themes of uncertainty, inner conflict, isolation, resilience, and transformation in an increasingly complex world.
Balancing technical realism with metaphor and imagination, each work invites viewers to reflect on the fragility of the human mind and spirit, while also searching for meaning, hope, and endurance within the chaos.
Ground beneath my feet - SERIES
Ground Beneath My Feet marked a significant turning point in my artistic journey — the beginning of my movement toward fantastic realism. Created during a period of personal growth and emotional balance, this series reflects a deepening sense of grounding, inner peace, and connection to self.
Blending realism with symbolic and imaginative elements, the works explore themes of transformation, stability, and quiet strength, capturing the moment when uncertainty slowly gave way to clarity and belonging.
Singular works
Alongside my larger series, I have created a number of individual fantastic realism works that emerged from deeply personal experiences, fleeting emotions, or reflections on particular moments and situations in life.
These singular pieces are often intuitive and emotionally driven, allowing ideas to develop freely without the structure of a continuing series. Blending realism with symbolism and imagination, each work becomes a visual response to an inner thought, memory, or human experience - a moment captured in symbolic form.
